The Author is a scottish-born writer. He has a PhD in Media Historiography (Stanford, University). He is the author of Gendered Exception: Being Queer in the Age of Cultural Relativism (2001) and of Without Us, a book of essays published in 2006.
He has written many fictions books, many of them international best-sellers. His work has been translated into 30 languages.
The Author was named in 2004 by the Economist "most sustainable writer".
He lives in New-York with his wife and their three children.
